Adam Brett Ward was born and raised in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. At an early age Adam was inspired to sing by female country singers Janie Fricke and Patsy Cline; he even made a few local TV appearances singing their songs. Adam also studied at the Royal College of Music (London) and SUNY Stony Brook. Adam was also heavily involved in choral singing throughout his studies and in 2006 Adam joined the GRAMMY winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer; he has been a full time member since. Adam is also a songwriter, composer and arranger.
